My Reply- First, out of all the Worthwhile Things to offer, which out of them is-
1. An Absolute Solution for a Pools of Buyer Types
2. Confirm there is a Pool of buyer-types for it
3. Then, remember- If you look like a salesperson to a Buyer- You're doing it wrong and/or picked the wrong 'PERSON, PLACE or THING' to offer.
To my target audience, nothing I say sounds like sales and I can say the say thing in many different ways and still be seen as a solution.

Here's my card (This buys me confusion time because, there is an instant expectation that I'm a buyer... now I must nail the landing/closing, fast, before I look like a Salesperson) I'm a Backup Community Distribution Service. (I'm not going to use the company name nor am I going to say Marketing, Promotions or other sales words) Keep me on file. (Not going to use any of that clever sales mind games stuff).
As I say to my son- In my younger days, this is the same way I would flirt. Know my audience then HIT IT & QUIT IT... introduction. "Here' My Card/Number. Call me when you get some time". Then, keep on Pushin' down the road knowing- within 5 Seconds She's made up her mind (at-a-glance) if she's want to decide to be my target audience or not. (No Smartphones back in those Prehistoric Days). Know the look of your target audience then POUNCE!
What I do is 100% enough!!! The Card & the Site does any additional pitch/intro work. Community Distribution of your Offer!!! That's The Hook My Target Audience want!
By doing my homework- My Audience is those who were once getting their ads distributed through listing in local Community (Newspapers) Print-Publication.
Getting a YES is well to the right of receiving the 'NO' response
Sales is so much like life in that- Once you 'KNOW' what brings you Joy- everything else is just road block on your way to relief. Once you now you are a Buyers Solution, those clever sales words only matter because you want to have a splash of color when closing deals.

I don't know everything- I I'm 100% unafraid to decide on a course of action based on what I currently know. I've had to hit the RECALCULATING button many time. I Dream it then, I look for the Hardware or Software People, Places or Things that helps me build on what was only a dream. When the Mac came out, that was the only time in my life- something had limitless possibilities greater than my imagination/dreams. I was born when that happened. Wait, this last bit was to much, huh?
