    Only After the Forth Quarter Clock Times-out does the Game Reach the need for the team ahead to Take Command of Winning the Game by making a No Time On The Clock, Final Statement Score.  At this point, the losing team has one two goals- Prevent the Final Statement and use the ZERO CLOCK TIME to mount a comeback.

Being ahead simple give you the first crack at making the final Scoring Statement to take Command of Ending the match.

The Team ahead can be up by multiple Scores when the clock hits all zeros.  They still must make a Final Statement.  Much like the Gladiators whom, while having the obvious loser down and laying limp on the ground- There must be a Thumbs Up or Down Final Blow/Statement to truly end the match.

HOW :
The team Ahead must make a Final Score totaling 6 points. (Two Field Goals or a Score)
Once the that 4th Quarter Clock Strikes Zero- Everyone knows what must or can happen next.
This brings stamina into the equation.

NOTE:
There can't be a boring elongation where competition is lacking. If the opposition isn't up to the challenge in the first place then, the Final Blow/Score will happen quickly without much fight.  However, once all Zeros Hit the team lacking points need only to repeatedly stop the team ahead in points from completing their last Strike/Score.  

Real Sport Drama is written all over that.  Check Sports history in nearly all sports- a losing opponent has time and time again arisen and pulled off the impossible!
